ACCP Flip Cards: Pharmacotherapy is a fun, fast, and simple way for pharmacy professionals to prepare for the Pharmacotherapy Specialty Certification Examination administered by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties.
This new study tool features over 300 patient-centered, disease-specific vignettes and clinical scenarios. Each item includes an explained answer with rationale and supporting references for further study.
Items can be reviewed by examination domain or system and patient-care problems. Items can also be randomly shuffled for a more challenging review. Scoring statistics provide instant feedback that allows for a more focused review of problem areas. Answers include complete explanations with 2-5 supporting references; each reference has a hyperlink to PubMed or other compiler.

The app states that it has no questions then it abruptly closes. This app is essentially useless. It would be great if the bugs were fixed in time for use prior to spring BCPS testing.
I bought this more expensive app thinking it would be superior to the physical notecards. I could not have been more wrong. Here is the short list of everything that is wrong with this app. 1. Once you answer a question you cannot go back to see it. Im still working through a specific domain and Im hoping it will let me see the cards I got wrong and wanted to take notes on again. If you accidentally forget to favorite the card, you wont be seeing it again. I only imagine it will let me see it if I clear statistics, but like I said Im in the middle of a domain and cannot do that right now. 2. Forget about trying to use this app on your iPad. Several of the questions do not display properly on the screen. They do not show the answers or it takes several lines of text and squishes them into one line so you cannot read it. 3. Forget about technical support. Theyll just tell you to fly a kite. I contacted technical support (FYI you have to contact ACCP directly... They did not even bother to make that an easy process) and provided screen shots of the issues I was having and I was told they would forward my issues to the developer and that I was the only one having the issue. I checked on two separate iPads and they are doing the same thing. So, here I am, using the app on my iPhone. 3. Did I mention this product is more expensive than the physical notecards?! Please save your money and buy the physical cards.
